Post Malone has established himself as a mainstay in the country music industry. He performed double duty at the 2024 CMA Awards for the second consecutive year.
One of his star-studded collaborations with Chris Stapleton opened the performance for the country newcomer. “California Sober” was the first song the two sang to start the award party.
The musician later performed a moving version of his song “Yours” at the awards presentation, and many people were observed crying by the end of his performance.
“Yours” is a particularly noteworthy single from Posty’s debut full-country album, F-1 Trillion. He added that his toddler daughter served as the inspiration for the song when he first introduced it, and that he penned it while thinking what it would be like to attend her wedding someday.

Malone has been quite discreet about his family life. Although it is known that she was born in the spring of 2022 and that he has her initials, DDP, tattooed on the side of his face, he has never revealed her name or birthdate in public.
He has additionally disclosed that the arrival of his daughter was a crucial turning point in his life. He claims that he was on a “rough path” at the time and spent most of his days “getting up, having a good cry, drinking and then going and living your life.”
Additionally, Post has never disclosed the identity of his fiancée’s mother, the mother of his daughter.
August saw the arrival of the F-1 Trillion. Although the entire production was not eligible for CMA consideration this year, Post received some nods for the lead track, “I Had Some Help,” from his Morgan Wallenduet.
“Yours” was co-written by Post Malone, Ashley Gorley, Ryan Vojtesak, and Taylor Philips.
