Carrie Underwood Is Freezing Her Eggs (Chicken) for Future Use

Within weeks of her contentious performance at President Trump’s inauguration, Carrie Underwood is returning to her normal life on the farm.

She’s also returned to providing her fans with the content they’ve grown accustomed to seeing from her kitchen, where she likes to showcase breads, vegetables, and her canning endeavors.

She explains that she is preserving freeze-dried eggs this week, which she plans to consume traveling.

Did you think Underwood was consuming the hotel’s complimentary continental breakfast?

No.

These eggs, which come directly from her birds, seem to be stuffed with cheese, peppers, and onions. Because they are freeze-dried, they will hold until she revives them with milk or water. They are then prepared for consumption.

The “Southbound” singer has previously engaged in some startling behavior. She typically pickles and cans her vegetables, and we can’t wait to see her pantry. She even canned some homegrown garlic recently, which she claims ruined her entire house!

The Grammy-winning singer could easily hire a professional chef for her family with the success and money she has acquired. Rather, she stays true to her rural heritage by cooking for her family in their backyard using their own garden and livestock. She has two growing boys with her husband, Mike Fisher.

When she returns to Las Vegas for her Reflection residency at the end of March and early April, she will have another opportunity to eat freeze-dried eggs while traveling. This season, she is also a judge on American Idol.
