Post Malone Just Set a Dubious Grammy Awards Record

The worst part of it is that Post Malone was nominated for eight Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 2), but he didn’t win any of them.

The vocalist of “I Had Some Help” received nominations in four all-genre categories, including Record of the Year and Best Recording Packaging, three country categories, and a pop category. He was chosen for both solo and joint projects with Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Morgan Wallen.

If there were statistics on the most common ways to lose Grammys, he would undoubtedly rank close to the top. He did top another category with his eight misses.

  • Beyonce was

    country music’s top Grammy winner

with three, although Americana artist Sierra Ferrell won four Grammys.

  • Lainey Wilson, Brad Paisley and Shaboozey were among the artists to take the stage.
  • Kelsea Ballerini was one of the relatively few country artists who attended the show without a role to play on stage.

Who Has the Most Grammy Awards Nominations Without a Win?

The country music artist with the most Grammy nominations but no win is Post Malone. He went 0–10 before starting his country career. He joins a select group of artists breathing rare air after adding eight more, passing Martina McBride (0–14) and Dirks Bentley (0–15).

Sound engineer Chris Gehringer has 21 Grammy nominations, making him the most nominated artist in history to have never won one.

It’s safe to assume that the pop-country sensation is the most nominated/no-win artist that the general public has heard of, as Zubin Mehta, an Indian classical music maestro, is tied for second place with Post Malone at the age of 18.

Other celebrities on the oh-fer list are Snoop Dogg (16), Bj rk (16), and Katy Perry (13). This group is a good place to start if someone ever says it’s lovely merely to be nominated.

Post Malone’s Dubious Grammy History

In 2019, Post Malone received four Grammy nominations for tracks from Beerbongs & Bentleys, marking his first Grammy nominations. Since then, he has placed in several categories almost every year. Songs like Circles and Sunflower were good enough to be on the list but not good enough to win.

He almost matched his career total for this year after going without a nomination in 2024, but Beyonce won multiple categories. But he might not return home empty-handed.

Regarding Post Malone’s Grammy history, there is one disclaimer.Since Post collaborated with Beyonce on “Levi’s Jeans,” he would receive a Grammy under the rule change that grants Grammys to any artist associated with the Album of the Year, according to Syracuse.com.

However, he is not listed as a Grammy winner on the Grammy website.
