Ch-Ch-Changes: Chick-Fil-A Changes Fry Recipe + Customers Are Arguing!

You can’t please everyone in this world since there are two types of people: those who prefer crispy french fries and those who prefer squishy ones.

Chick-Fil-A is currently learning this as they attempt to evade the goaltender and alter their fry formula in the hopes that few customers will notice. They did.

USA Today reports that the “slight adjustment” made to the original recipe for waffle potato fries “offers the same great taste” and would not contain “any of the nine major allergens.”

Adding pea starch to the recipe is the only modification, and it seems to help the crunch last a little longer.

This modification is supposed to enable you eat those golden fries all the way home while maintaining some crunch on the front of each mouthful.

YouTuber Daym Drops got heated the moment he took a bite out of the new waffle fry recipe. A critical assessment of them was left by him.

We’ve been here before; I’m referring to fundamental stupidity. I’m referring to the old Ugg boots that are slanting sideways on their journey to Starbucks. This is where all of the basic makeup is removed.

Others are cautiously hopeful, agreeing to try the new fry recipe but cautioning Chick-fil-A that they already adored the prior waffle fries and don’t want to be disappointed.

The reason Chick-Fil-A would violate the well-worn “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mantra also baffles some people.

Some consumers are saying that while they are willing to try the fries, they sincerely hope that they won’t taste like peas when they bite into them.

Then there are those who support the new recipe change and stick their crispy flag into the ketchup.

Making a shift can seem a bit drastic when you are consistently among the most well-known fast food restaurants in America.

It will take time to determine whether Chick-Fil-A made the best decision for its patrons and brand.
