Would You Eat This Meal That Carrie Underwood Made From Scratch? [Pictures]

In addition to being a world-renowned entertainer and soon-to-be judge on American Idol, Carrie Underwood harvests and cooks her own food for her family at home.

Her most recent invention? pasta made entirely from scratch.

The singer of “Before He Cheats” posted on Instagram what she prepared for supper for her family, which included her husband Mike and their sons, Isaiah and Jacob.

It looks fantastic!

In order to prevent it from sticking to itself, the country music artist first demonstrated how she sliced her sourdough into thin pieces and sprinkled it with the appropriate flour.

As she proudly showed the finished dish to her admirers, she explained how she prepares a rich parmesan sauce to drizzle over it.

This is not the first time Underwood has drawn us into her kitchen as she cooks; most recently, she displayed melons she raised in her garden along with a few herbs and spices.

She modestly shared some limes and mandarins that were directly from her garden along with this most recent Instagram food photo dump.

Underwood grew her own mandarins for the first time, and they certainly have a lush, orange appearance.

The “Southbound” singer also displayed some of her own limes, describing how they turn more yellow as they ripen.

Is there anything that Underwood is incapable of? Don’t hold your breath on that one; the verdict is still pending.
