Last Friday, December 6, Oliver Anthony posted a YouTube vlog titled “What I’ve Learned From the Music Industry So Far.”
A story of Anthony performing at the Carolina Country Music Fest last June and witnessing another performer who used “six autotune modulators on a pedal board onstage” to aid with vocal pitch is included in the broad 15-minute film.
Although he didn’t mention names, people made the connection because McCollum’s performance at that event came after Anthony’s, according to the festival program.
