Brooks & Dunn Reveal Their Pick for 2024 CMA Entertainer of the Year [Exclusive]

Reboot II, Brooks & Dunn’s eagerly awaited album, was just released. Following that release, they spent some time discussing everything related to country music with presenter Evan Paul on Taste of Country Nights.

Who the seasoned duo believed should win the highly sought-after Entertainer of the Year title was one of the concerns raised by the impending CMA Awards on ABC on November 20.

Of the two, Ronnie Dunn was the first to speak.

“Anyone who was nominated is worthy, butMorgan(Wallen) is pretty much smokin’ it.”

At that point, Kix Brooks swung in with the co-sign “Mmmm hmmmm.”

Dunn concurred when Brooks went on to mention Lainey Wilson.

“The juice is in her. A few nights ago in Atlanta, we ran down and performed “Play Something Country” with her. She’s got it.

“I know better than to predict that one,” Brooks added. Anything can occur.

They concur that Wallen should win Entertainer of the Year this year, but they also concur that Wilson should win for the second consecutive year, if you read between the lines.
