After leaving a “heavy” impression on customers, an unexpected eatery is suddenly shutting down all of its Oregon locations, including two new ones.
In a touching note, the owners of Boxer Ramen in Portland, Oregon, informed customers of the sudden shutdown and explained.
After 11 years in business, the chain closed all four locations on April 29.
There were four locations of Boxer Ramen in the greater Portland region, including one in Beaverton.
The Multnomah Village first appeared in January, and the Cedar Hills location debuted in December, as reported by Willamette Week.
In an Instagram post, the mom-and-pop store informed its followers that it was closing due to some issues.
In a heartbreaking announcement, the post stated, “We will be closing all of our doors for good this upcoming Monday the 29th” after 11 years of providing customers with their distinct style of Ramen.
Our restaurant, along with everyone else in our communities, has been hit hard by the pandemic’s enormous difficulties and the resulting inflation in the prices of products and services.
Boxer Ramen invited its loyal customers to enjoy a final supper at one of its restaurants this coming weekend.
“But above all, we simply want to say farewell to everyone we’ve known for the past eleven years,” the message continued.
Every one of you is like a member of our family, and we will miss you very much.
The parent business of Boxer Ramen, MMMco., declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy on February 8.
