What You Need to Know About Indiana’s Largest BBQ Competition

In 2025, Indiana will host the 5th Annual Hoosier BBQ Classic, which will feature food trucks, live music, a beer garden, and of course, barbecue!

Despite the current chilly weather in Indiana, the battle for the 2025 Hoosier BBQ Classic is already intensifying. The Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), the biggest competitive barbecue organization in the world, has approved this event as the venue for the state’s biggest barbecue competition. This isn’t your typical backyard barbecue, to put it briefly. Experienced pitmasters will compete for a prize pool of $8,500 in this event. The whole family will also have a great time.

Date Set for 2025 Hoosier BBQ Classic

This year’s event will be held in collaboration with Folds of Honor, a foundation that assists in providing education support to the families of soldiers who have died or become incapacitated.
