The Eagles Drop Massive Donation on FireAid L.A. Fire Relief Concert

Donations for FireAid, a benefit concert to aid victims of the wildfires in Los Angeles, were initiated by The Eagleskick.

The group, which includes country music artist Vince Gill, pledged $2.5 million to help restore Los Angeles and stop future occurrences of the same kind. Whether the band will play is unclear.

  • FireAid will take place on Jan. 30 at the Intuit Dome, home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers.
  • No artists have been announced for the concert yet.
  • Irving Azoff is co-producing the concert. He is the longtime manager of the Eagles.

In breaking the news, Billboard disclosed that Live Nation and AEG Presents will also produce, with the earnings going to a charity that will help the local community and its suffering residents. Three nights following the Thursday night performance come the 2025 Grammy Awards. The roster might be improved by having musicians already in town.

Although there have been rumors that the Grammys and other awards programs like the Oscars should be discontinued or changed to telethons, the Grammys are still going on. The fires are not entirely contained.

Nearly 90,000 people remain under evacuation orders, according to NBC4in L.A., and severe gusts are predicted for the area on Wednesday, January 15. According to the L.A. Times, the Eaton fire is at 45% containment, while the Palisades fire is at 19%.

Few country musicians were directly impacted by the fire, though Brad Paisley mentioned that his first home with wife Kimberly burned down and Jessie James Decker talked about a panic she had.
