I advise against attending this holiday dinner if you want to do something unique for your partner on Valentine’s Day since you can wind up in the dog house.
Not A Great Valentine’s Day Dinner Idea In Illinois
I want to start by stating that I’m not attempting to speak poorly of this establishment in general. I’ve visited there a lot in my life, particularly for late-night food. However, this might not be the ideal option if you’re attempting to do something kind for your special someone. This is actually the perfect night out for some couples.

Everybody celebrates Valentine’s Day in a different way. Some folks invest a lot of money and go all in. Others only take on minor tasks. There isn’t a right or incorrect response. Whatever suits your relationship the best. My wife and I don’t do much together, but she wouldn’t be pleased if I tried to take her to this event.
I’m referring to White Castle’s yearly St. Valentine’s Day dinner. The restaurant serves a complete sit-down supper there. There are many places in Illinois, some of which are close to us, even though we don’t have one in Rockford.
Again, this is not a criticism of White Castle, but not everyone enjoys their cuisine. Were you to tell your partner, “Hey honey, we’re going to White Castle for Valentine’s Day?” What would they think? Or worst, simply go there without telling them, leaving them completely caught off guard. That would be a big surprise, I see.
Of course, many couples find the concept appealing. That’s what some people do on Valentine’s Day each year. Perhaps they experienced a memorable first date at White Castle. Although I believe that’s fantastic for them, not everyone is in a relationship like that. All I want is for you to enjoy your break.
