Countdowns have been a favorite of mine since I was a teenager. Back then, you should have seen me paying close attention to the Casey Kasem Top 40 Countdown and noting the positions of each song on the chart. After that, I learned about Billboard, the trade publication that produced all of those tunes.
Even now, I still adore them, and I eagerly await the Big BKR Smackdown, which started in 2011. And without your votes, we couldn’t have succeeded. In a tournament-style countdown, we match 64 songs into 32 groups. The song that receives the most votes moves on to the following round. It’s fantastic.
