Ohio Suspect Arrested After Allegedly BEATING GIRLFRIEND to Death and DISPOSING OF BODY IN TRASH

An Ohio man has been charged with the murder of his 24-year-old girlfriend, whose body he allegedly dumped in a park garbage can.

Sean Goe, 26, is accused of killing Raychel Sheridan, whose body was discovered by sanitation workers in a Canton park last month, according to police.

According to investigators, on June 30, Goe allegedly beat Sheridan to death before transporting her body in a car to dispose of it.

Sheridan was reported missing last Tuesday, and sheriffs launched a search for her after doing a welfare check at her apartment. When they visited her apartment, Fox8 stated that they discovered indications of foul play.

Deputies saw Goe driving Sheridan’s SUV and attempted to pull him over, but he allegedly escaped on foot. According to authorities, this sparked an “extensive search”.

Police eventually found Goe hiding at a homeless shelter and arrested him on July 3 on outstanding charges of domestic violence.

After examining Sheridan’s residence and interviewing Goe, they established that he was responsible for her death.

Following Goe’s arrest on July 3, Sheridan’s body was discovered in a park on the city’s southwest side.

According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, Goe faces felony charges of murder, gross mistreatment of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, as well as a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.

He is being jailed on a $1 million bond and will be arraigned on Tuesday.

Lisa, Sheridan’s mother, and Holly Clapsaddle, a family friend, were in court on the day of Goe’s arraignment.

Clapsaddle told ABC5 that she was “utterly shocked” by the young woman’s murder and described Sheridan as a compassionate person.

“I wanted him to see what he stole from us and that she’s never going to be forgotten, and when we say Raychel, we truly say ray of sunshine,” she told the television reporter.

Canton City Prosecutor Katie Erchick Gilbert informed the broadcaster that the case would be transferred to the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office, “where they will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.”

Police are currently investigating Sheridan’s death.
