On Wednesday night (November 20), Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin walked the red carpet prior to the 2024 CMA Awards, wearing the “black” in a black tie formal.
As the country power couple walked the red carpet together, Lambert’s off-the-shoulder dress complemented McLoughlin’s gleaming black suit and tie like something from a classic film.
If you have followed McLoughlin’s red carpet style in the past, you are aware of his preference for suits, and this ensemble was reminiscent of the outfits he has worn at previous CMA Awards.
However, Lambert frequently decides to go for contrast with a striking, vibrant style. This time, she chose a short train and an off-the-shoulder style for her stunning yet simple black gown.

Lambert’s involvement in an all-star homage to George Strait, who is getting a Lifetime Achievement Award, will be a significant component of this year’s CMAs night. Given this, it is sense that Lambert’s Texas heritage would be slightly visible when she walked the red carpet before to the performance.
Oversized turquoise bracelets and rings, along with huge, hanging turquoise earrings, allowed Lambert to show off her individuality.
Usually a mainstay of the CMA Awards nominees list, the “Wranglers” vocalist is not included this year. This is partly because she was trapped between album cycles during the eligibility time. Postcards From Texas, her most recent CD, was released outside of the window for CMA eligibility.
Lambert has been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year for the previous 17 years in a row, so it’s still very disappointing to see her miss the category.
ABC will broadcast the 2024 CMA Awards, which will be held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The show is co-hosted by Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, and Peyton Manning.
