I suppose I simply lack the skills necessary to be a thief. I would feel guilty if I took someone else’s valuables. In addition, I don’t want to be caught and imprisoned. It would better be worth the danger if I ever decide to breach the law. To be honest, I don’t believe it is.

A lot of thieves specialize. Perhaps they defraud individuals of their money or steal automobiles. Illinois police have apprehended and arrested a criminal in Wheaton. He robs convenience stores of lottery tickets.

He would approach the on-duty clerk in the businesses and attempt to make friends. The employee will leave the suspect alone in front of the cash register once they feel at ease with him. The robber would then take a number of lottery tickets off the display and flee.

Elmhurst, Addison, Winfield, Carol Stream, Hanover Park, Oakbrook Terrace, and Lombard convenience stores were among the several locations where the suspect perpetrated this scam. At a Villa Park motel, he was taken into custody.

Since the lottery tickets could be worth nothing or a huge jackpot, I would like to know how the police choose what charges to bring against him. To determine out how much he would have won, do the police have to scratch off the tickets?
