Over the past few days, numerous homes and businesses in Southern California have been destroyed by the raging wildfires, including a unique location that formerly belonged to Brad Paisley and his wife, Kimberly.
The country music artist shared the heartbreaking news on social media that the Pacific Palisades fire destroyed the first house he and his wife bought together.
“We lived in Pacific Palisades for years,” he states. “Kim and I purchased our first home together. We created memories with some of our closest friends, including the birthing classes with @kevinnealon and @sukiyeagley, and the first nursery we had to prepare. strolling to the nearby eateries, Starbucks, and Gelson’s.”
“That lovely old house, along with the majority of that community, burned last night,” he adds. Many decent people have been uprooted, devastated, and expelled around Los Angeles.
“I would provide a link to make a donation or spread awareness, but it all seems so much more significant than that. “I’m not sure where to start,” the country music icon says. “Those of you who are reading this will undoubtedly find a way to assist if you can, but for the time being, I just want to lament the death of a town. And appreciate the memories and the beauty of what it was.
“Everything is so horrible and depressing. I love you all.
In response, Kimberly said in the comments that she was rendered speechless by the news of the wildfires and destruction.
“Thank you for the lovely post. “At this moment, I lack the words,” she says.
With a house burning in the background, Paisley included an amazing image of a firefighter dragging a hose down a local street.

Los Angeles flames have destroyed over 2,000 buildings and killed five individuals as of Thursday, January 9. At least 130,000 people have been forced to leave the area due to four different fires, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Eaton fires have destroyed over 10,000 acres, while the Pacific Palisades fire is the deadliest of the lot, scorching over 17,000 acres. There have been 855 acres burned by the Hurst fire and 42 acres by the Sunset fire.
