After performing at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Arizona, Ford suffered a heart attack and passed out not long after texting his fiancée. After being taken to the intensive care unit (ICU), where his health steadily improved, he was later moved to another hospital.
Ford “died on the way,” but was resurrected and three stents were implanted during this trip. He acknowledges that he did not recall much of the events leading up to the heart attack, and his recuperation was a protracted process.
Ford had another health crisis in 2021 after being diagnosed with ocular cancer, which necessitated surgery. Even though he didn’t tell many people about the condition at first, he later thanked his friends and followers for their tremendous support.
Ford’s 2025 tour makes a thrilling return when it begins in Bloomington, Illinois, on March 13. He has a lot of shows in April, June, and July after a busy March.
