Christina Haack Ordered to Pay Ex Josh Hall After Sale of Tennessee Home

According to documents obtained by the Daily Mail, a court has ordered Christina Haack to give her ex-boyfriend Josh Hall $150,000 of the proceeds from the sale of their Tennessee property.

The divorce proceedings are still ongoing after the HGTV star and her husband filed for divorce in July of last year.

Last October, the house they shared in Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville, was put up for sale. However, by the end of the month, the listing was taken down. It was put back on the market on December 3 and is still advertised for sale at $4.5 million.

This house has been the subject of some back and forth in court. Although Hall’s legal team has maintained that he had an interest in the residence “due to the paydown of the mortgage” during their marriage, Haack bought the house in February 2021, before Haack and Hall were married. Additionally, he said that after they separated in September 2024, she allowed him to live in the house for 12 days while it was vacant, and that after he relocated to a new residence, his living expenses went significantly.

According to court records, Hall requested a temporary emergency order to halt the sale soon after the property was first posted.Additionally, according to the Daily Mail, Hall asserts that Haack listed the residence without his permission and that prior to its listing, he had proposed a worldwide settlement offer.

Since then, he has stated in court that he will not impede the sale; nonetheless, his team requested a court order to reimburse him “at least $150,000.”

Because Haack is dealing with a new legal team, the details were filed in court in January even though the court decision requiring Haack to pay Hall for the house was issued in late October.

The money must be sent by Haack “no later than five days after the close of the escrow,” according to the Daily Mail.
