The songs that Stapleton won this Grammy included “16 Carriages” by Beyonce, “I Am Not Okay” by Jelly Roll, “The Architect” by Kacey Musgraves, and “A Bar Song” by Shaboozey.

A few minutes later, Musgraves would win a Grammy for Best Country Song. She has already won eight Grammys in her career.

Whether Stapleton will go to the Grammys is still up in the air. He had previously attended, but missed in 2023. He hasn’t performed at the Los Angeles awards presentation and hasn’t typically gone to galas merely to be noticed.

Just a year ago, country music circles were not discussing the most nominated country performers at this year’s Grammys. Artists like Stapleton and Morgan Wallen fall into two categories, while Beyonce, Post Malone, and Shaboozey are at the top.

Trevor Noah will host the 2025 Grammy Awards, which will air on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
