Smile Illinois – You Have the Best Dental Health in America!

35% of adults have not seen a dentist in more than a year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). A phobia of dentists and/or the inability to pay for one are two possible explanations for such. Brushing and flossing are two things you can do on your own, of course, but they won’t help you much.

Your entire health is greatly influenced by your dental health, and certain states appear to have better dental health than others.A list of the states with the best and worst dental health was provided by WalletHub. They examined 25 important dental health indicators for each state, with Dental Habits & Care and Oral Health being the two primary categories.

Illinois Dental Health is Ranked #1 in America

Illinois has a #9 score for Dental Habits & Care and a #1 position for Oral Health. A low proportion of inhabitants having mouth-related pain or sleep problems, as well as a small proportion of persons with poor or fair oral health, are additional variables that contributed to the Land of Lincoln’s ranking as the top state. A high percentage of youth dental appointments, substantial Medicaid dental benefits, and widespread availability to fluoridated water are all contributing variables that help lay the groundwork for long-term oral health.
