There isn’t much better than Azzip Pizza, and I love to spread the word about local companies run by decent people. I’m thrilled to announce that Azzip, which started on the westside of Evansville, will launch its twelfth and thirteenth sites in 2025.
When Azzip originally launched in 2014, I went there for the first time and will never forget it. I met Brad Niemier, the owner and founder, there, and he graciously sat down with a couple of prickly radio men for a brief conversation. He described the idea and the process by which it was developed. Because we’re not too intelligent, he also clarified the name’s meaning.
Azzip Pizza Announces Two New Locations in 2025
After eleven years, Brad and Azzip Pizza’s situation couldn’t be more favorable. Eight additional facilities in Indiana and two in Kentucky have been added, and they have no plans to stop there. Azzip intends to open two more locations by the end of 2025: one in West Lafayette (the second facility for each city) and one in Terre Haute.

Would it be okay if I added a couple more accolades? They’re coming, so I hope not. Azzip Pizza has won accolades such as the Southwest Indiana Chamber’s Entrepreneur of the Year award and Evansville Living Magazine’s Best New Restaurant award. Azzip was ranked as the top menu innovator by Pizza Marketplace in 2023 and included in the top 100 fast-casual Movers & Shakers countrywide.
The new West Lafayette site, located at 939 Sagamore Parkway West in the Town Square area, is scheduled to open in the summer of 2025. Meanwhile, the Terre Haute facility, located at 2499 South State Road 46 close to the Terre Haute Casino Resort, is scheduled to open in the fall of the same year.
