Darius Rucker Has Permanently Moved Out of the United States

This one can be filed under “wait, what happened?”

Country music artist Darius Rucker has permanently left the United States of America. Rucker announces on Instagram that he now formally resides in the UK!

Rucker packed up and moved to London with his two dogs, Larry and Freddie, because he was ready for a new chapter in his life.

Rucker first hinted at the move on social media, asking his followers to speculate about his intentions.

The singer of “Wagon Wheel” then informed his millions of admirers a few days later that he had really left the nation.

He writes, “I can’t move to London and not play UK shows!” to advertise upcoming shows overseas. “Are your tickets ready yet? There are still some VIP packages available. I’ll see you shortly.

Fans of Rucker had questions, of course:

One admirer adds in the comments, “Oh, noooo!!!” Have you relocated permanently? I hope it’s only a temporary situation. If you did, I can’t hold it against you. You will be sorely missed here in the United States! But I’m constantly hoping for the best for you. God bless you constantly.

Some fans have more private grievances:

“Well, my dreams of our paths meeting are over. One person writes, “A girl can dream.”

The Post and Couriert are informed by the star’s representative that he would be “frequently returning to the U.S. for tour dates and charitable events.” He already has summer bookings in Ohio, California, and other places.

Simply put, we’re glad to see him content and to follow Rucker’s progress on Instagram.
