A new limited-edition Frosty flavor with ingredients from a beloved Girl Scout cookie will soon be available at Wendy’s.
One of my all-time favorite fast food desserts is Frosty’s. Every week in high school, my friends and I would go to our neighborhood Wendy’s for a bite to eat. In one instance, we were able to obtain a number of free Frosty coupons, which we obviously used up until they were gone. Even though it’s a straightforward dish, fans have enjoyed it for decades, and I have a suspicion that some people will be thrilled by the newest flavor.
Is a Wendy’s Frosty a Milkshake or Just Plain Soft-Serve Ice Cream?
One of the five original menu items continuously offered at Wendy’s, Frostys have been a part of the menu for more than 50 years. However, what are they exactly? The eatery claims that these frozen delights are meant to be eaten with a spoon and have a consistency that is in between that of a milkshake and soft-serve ice cream. (Usually, I just sip it after letting it melt a little.) Over the years, the restaurant has introduced a few additional flavors, but the most popular ones are still chocolate and vanilla.
Wendy’s Launches New Limited-Edition Thin Mints Frosty
Wendy’s has formally announced that it is launching a new Frostyin conjunction with the Girl Scouts of the USA, following weeks of speculation. The newest Frosty, according to the restaurant chain, blends the “flavor of two iconic fan favorites – Girl Scout Thin Mints and our beloved Frosty dessert – for a delectable, minty treat.” According to Wendy’s, Thin Mints are the ideal cookie to add to their Frosty range because they are renowned for being delicious when frozen.
This new flavor might have been created to compete with existing minty green frozen desserts, including McDonald’s traditional Shamrock Shake, in the run-up to St. Patrick’s Day. The Thin Mints Frosty, which can be added to a chocolate or vanilla Frosty, is basically merely a “swirl” of mint chocolate flavoring, in contrast to those other items. Fans are unlikely to receive a cup of solid green dairy bliss as a result. However, I don’t believe that will deter anyone from trying this novel mixture.
When Can I Try Wendy’s New Thin Mints Frosty in Indiana?
When I saw Wendy’s most recent news, my biggest concern was that the new Thin Mints Frosty would only be offered at a few places. Thankfully, that isn’t true at all. Food & Wine reports that locations around the country will begin serving the limited-edition Thin Mints Frosty on Friday, February 21. Although their exact duration is unknown, I anticipate that they will remain available on the menu until at least the first week of April.
