Chris Stapleton Drops Massive Donation for L.A. Wildfire Relief

A sizable cheque has been written by Chris Stapleton and his team to aid those impacted by the southern California wildfires.

On Tuesday, January 28, Stapleton and his wife Morgane, who founded the charity Outlaw State of Kind, announced that they are contributing $1 million to humanitarian operations.

Their donation has benefited local organizations like the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the California Community Foundation as well as national organizations like the American Red Cross.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the World Central Kitchen, three groups that primarily assist the arts community, and three organizations that assist displaced pets and wildlife will also receive funds.

Outlaw State of Kind included a link for supporters to give to the cause in the same social media post where they listed the charities they are supporting.

With the caption, “Join us in supporting however you can,”

Fans expressed their support in response to the announcement, while social media users from Los Angeles discussed the ongoing need for help in their local areas.

“The Eaton fire has forced my husband and I to relocate at this time. I am eight and a half months pregnant. One commenter says, “It’s a lot to process, but we’re doing our best to remain optimistic.”

“I’m grateful. Another says, “My daughter’s boyfriend lost everything in the Palisades fire.”
