10 Little Known Facts About Food Network Star Guy Fieri

For me, January 22nd is a really meaningful day. Guy Fieri, my favorite celebrity, is celebrating his birthday today. Guy Fieri has several facets, even though you may recognize him from shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, Drives, and Guy’s Grocery games on the Food Network. He is much more than a famous chef with bleach blonde hair.

Guy Fieri’s Number 1 Fan

I can therefore state with confidence that I have been a Guy Fieri fan since 2006. He started his journey to become the King of Flavortown in that year after winning The Next Food Network Star. At a press conference for the opening of his first Downtown Flavortown restaurant in Pigeon Forge, I had the most incredible time. He signed his name on my arm, and I informed him that I would get it permanently inked. Indeed, I did. I got his attention by pointing out that January 22 is his birthday, and that was after that!

Guy Fieri has Faced Death More Than Once

Guy was raised in a tiny Californian town with his family. He made the decision to participate in the rodeo. And a young Guy went to practice, shattered his arm after being flung off the bull, against his parents’ wishes that he not. In fact, he made a brief attempt to conceal his injury from his parents.

Said No to The Food Network

Not every show concept will succeed. Additionally, despite being new to the network at the time, Guy rejected a gameshow that marketed new kitchen appliances that no one actually needed and put youngsters in a pointless competition.

The Loss of His Sister

In 2011, Morgan, Guy’s sister, lost her fight against malignant cancer. She was a vegetarian all of her life, so it’s likely that Guy will bring her up whenever he mentions a restaurant that serves plants.

Two Sons and a Nephew

Hunter and Ryder are Guy and Lori’s two sons. They adopted his nephew Jules following the death of his sister. He occasionally appears as a guest on Guy’s Grocery Games.
