These days, true crime podcasts and TV shows are very popular. You can get a behind-the-scenes peek at investigating a real crime at a pretty awesome event hosted by the Evansville Police Foundation.


CSI: Evansville, Past and Present

The Evansville Police Foundation hosts a yearly fundraiser, which gives you the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a professional CSI investigator. On Thursday, April 10th, 2025, you can learn more about a high-profile case that captured the city’s attention at the Old National Bank in Evansville, Indiana.

Since the case they intend to highlight has already been resolved, all parties concerned may explain why crimes cannot be solved in an hour (as they do in the real world).


Meet & Greet

This isn’t your typical lecture. You will get the unique chance to meet and socialize with some of Evansville’s best before the event begins:


  • Members of the EPD Adult Investigations Unit and SWAT Team

  • The officers presenting the CSI program
