My spouse and I went in this past week to obtain our passports in preparation for an upcoming wedding that we would be attending abroad. I had to enter the date of our wedding on my application. To be honest, I had a hard time remembering the precise day! You would think that after all this time, I would have it committed to memory, but I don’t!
As someone who has been married for over half of my life, I must admit that hearing my friends who are unmarried discuss dating makes me a little nervous. Their shared horror experiences are one thing, but if I had to start over, I wouldn’t even know where to start! How are people met?

The Evansville Thunderbolts are a great option if you’re single, willing to meet someone new, and don’t want to be the center of attention this Valentine’s Day. Hold on, that is baseball! I admit that I was unable to resist a nice pun! I tried searching for hockey lingo on Google, but I couldn’t find anything.
Swipe Right Night with the Evansville Thunderbolts
In any case, on February 14th, the Evansville Thunderbolts will host Swipe Right Night. Before the game begins, a speed dating event will take place in the suite club, where singles can socialize in a dedicated singles area. Additionally, at the first intermission, if you are a REALLY good sport, you can play blind dating with the chance to win the ideal date night.
Crucial:
- A ticket to the game must be purchased to participate in speed dating. Tickets for Swipe Right Night start at $14 if purchased at the Ford Center Ticket Office by asking for the Gen Z deal!
- Speed dating is open to participants aged 21-29.
- The event is capped at 40 participants.
Naturally, families and couples are still allowed to participate in the festivities and watch as new relationships are formed in real time.
