The end of the 2024–25 academic year will arrive sooner rather than later, whether you like it or not. For some parents, that entails getting ready for their child to graduate from elementary, middle, or high school. On the opposite end of the school spectrum, some other parents are getting ready to enroll their child or children in kindergarten. As a parent with two children who have completed kindergarten, I can assure you that it’s okay and that both you and your child will be alright.
Important Dates EVSC Parents Need to Know
Now is the time to begin the kindergarten enrollment process if you have a child or children starting in the 2025–2026 school year at the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC). This timeline is for you if your child will turn five on or before August 1.

in the EVSC is now open.

January 22, 2025:
This is the day when parents can begin toapply for bus transportation
to and from school. This step in the process is super important – it’s crucial to get accurate numbers considering the shortage of bus drivers being felt in school corporations all around the country.

Application begins forExtended Day Care service
. Space is limited so please register as soon as possible once the application opens.
