Here at WBKR, it’s Micro Wrestling Wednesday! We offer a special opportunity for you to win tickets to the Original “Micro” Professional Wrestling Organization’s return to Owensboro, Kentucky on Saturday, January 18th at 8 p.m.
When ‘Micro Jackson’ and his fellow athletes visited the Owensboro Convention Center last year, I had the opportunity to watch them perform. The fun was hysterical and boisterous. Mary-Katherine Maddox, my radio co-host, and I went beyond and purchased ringside seats. For the chaos on the mat, MKat brought her son Rollins and her husband Michael.
We all thought it was fantastic. Funny, athletic, acrobatic, surprising, and wild are all characteristics of micro wrestling. After all, the evening began with an imposter of Ozzy Osbourne. Our Micro Wrestling BINGO card didn’t include that.
Seats in Rows 2 and 3 as well as ringside seats for the main event on Saturday night are officially sold out. Tickets for Row 4 and Behind/Bleachers are still available, though. Tickets cost $24.99 each. Believe me when I say this. It’s very worthwhile. Now spend that twenty-five dollars.
