Owensboro Girl Scout Wants to Sell 2500 Boxes of Cookies

An Owensboro girl is once again attempting to turn herself into a cookie-selling monster during Girl Scout Cookie season! Since 2022, Troop 1798 has been in town, and Ellie Wall has been aiming high for herself. She made the decision to try to sell 1200 boxes of cookies that year.

She set even greater goals in 2023 after receiving some support from a local businesswoman. She achieved her goal of consuming 2000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Like a boss! Yes, Ellie sold a staggering 2133 boxes two years ago. That’s a bunch of Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Do-si-dos, and Samoas.

Ellie is back at it in 2025. She first made the decision to try to sell 2200 boxes. But her buddy Cindy Heep, the mentor, friend, and businesswoman I previously described, has stepped in once more to urge Ellie to aim high and be bold. This year, she has persuaded her to step up the cookie game even more. Now, let’s get started! Ellie wants to sell 2,500 boxes this year.

Daviess County Middle School student Ellie is already working hard. This is how the Girl Scout Cookie program operates. The troops get to choose how to spend the money they get from selling cookies. Ellie and the other members of Troop 1798 have made the decision to purchase items for local foster children and donate a portion of their 2025 earnings to the animal shelter.
