Not So Fast! Oak Ridge Boys Add 2025 Dates to Farewell Tour

After all, the Oak Ridge Boys aren’t exactly quitting the road just yet.

The well-liked country singing duo released the dates for their American Made: Farewell Tour in September 2023, announcing their retirement from touring.

The Country Music Hall of Famers aren’t finished yet, despite the tour’s initial dates being set through December 2024. On Tuesday, January 14, the Oaks revealed their updated 2025 tour schedule, which includes performances through December 2025.

The trio claims that marketing their most recent album, Mama’s Boys, which was released in November 2024, has rekindled their passion to perform.

According to a press release, singer William Lee Golden says, “We’ve had so much fun touring from city to city and getting to see everyone.” We’ve had an amazing reception to the new album, and we sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We’ll be adding new dates shortly, so check our website often!

The new dates will not include one of the most seasoned Oak Ridge Boys. In January 2024, vocalist Joe Bonsall revealed his intention to retire from touring. Ben James, a young singer, took his place on the road.

Bonsalldiedon on July 9, 2024, due to ALS complications. He was seventy-six.

On Mama’s Boys, Ben James made his recording debut with the Oak Ridge Boys.

Later in 2025, the Oak Ridge Boys will release a new album in addition to the new shows.
