As it turns out, 2025 will be a year that Gabby Barrett releases new songs. The country music artist teased her followers on social media about her upcoming project, and it seems promising.
On a video of herself, she smirks slyly and raises her eyebrows repeatedly, writing, “POV: when the next son coming out is giving ‘I Hope’ vibes…”
Over the video, a voiceover sings, “I know something you don’t, I know something you will never know.”

“I Hope” was Barrett’s breakthrough single in 2019. She found herself clinging to the same singing dream without a record company to back it after finishing third on Season 16 of American Idol. She decided to independently release the song as a result.
She signed a contract with Warner Music Nashville as a result of its popularity. When pop artist Charlie Puth and Barrett remade “I Hope” in 2020, it even became a crossover hit.
When Will Gabby Barrett Release New Music?
Barrett’s cunning post left a much to be desired, and she didn’t provide any additional information on the music in the comments.
Fans will have to be content for the time being because something is on the horizon.
Barrett’s loyal fan base shouldn’t be overly eager for new music because she released two albums in 2024. Her second studio album of her career, Chapter & Verse, was released on February 2. Her faith is a major source of inspiration for the collection of songs; “Jesus on a Train” was issued especially for Christian radio.
The Christmas album Carols and Candlelight, which featured Barrett’s rendition of eleven holiday favorites, was her second release. It was delivered on November 8. She picked songs that hold special value for her, such as Dolly Parton’s “A Christmas to Remember,” with consideration.
What comes next? Time will tell what Barrett has planned, as is the case with many things in life.
