It’s returning! Sharing the preparations for Owensboro Burger Week 2025 makes me very happy. The dates for this year’s burger festival were revealed this morning by Visit Owensboro, in collaboration with the Kentucky Beef Council, German American Bank, Hill View Farms Meats, and Green River Distilling Company.
WHEN IS OWENSBORO BURGER WEEK 2025?
Put March 7 through March 15 on your calendars. At that point, dozens of eateries throughout Daviess County and Owensboro will be offering inventive and delectable burgers for just $8 (tax included). The size of the burger, its contents, and any sides it will be served with will be determined by each participating restaurant, just like in previous years.
WHO ARE PAST CHAMPIONS OF OWENSBORO BURGER WEEK?
For the first time in the history of the competition, the Grand Champion was tied last year. J’s Good Grub and Basil’s Food Truck, two nearby food trucks, split the prize.
The German American Bank People’s Choice Award for 2024 went to Kim’s Diner. “Watching Kim’s Diner’s response to winning our award last year was priceless,” says Kyle Aud of German American Bank. The footage from the security camera went viral.
This is timeless!
According to Kyle, “It’s just a testament to how hard these businesses work not only during Burger Week, but all year long.” Good news! This year, the German American Bank People’s Choice Award will return!
